Hello. My name is Shino, and I am a photographer based in Columbus, Ohio.
I have been capturing people in love for over a decade, shooting in Columbus to Japan, and anything in between.
I was originally born in Japan, and moved to the United States with my family when I was seven years old. growing up I have always loved taking pictures and telling a story through photographs. At The Ohio State University, I graduated with a degree in Journalism, with emphasis on photography, and went on to work in a photojournalism industry. I have shot for small daily newspapers to national magazines. Through my career in news photography, I realized my true love was to capture people in more intimate settings. I have been shooting weddings for over 15 years and never looked back.
I am truly passionate about both photography and the people I have the privilege of working with. There's something incredibly special about the way a photograph can freeze a moment in time, preserving the raw emotions, connections, and stories that make each of us unique.
